Bhakt Prahlad - Part 5 - Dialogue with God

Part 4 link

After killing Hiranyakashipu, Lord Narasimha chased away and killed other demons present there. His anger was increasing. He sat on the high throne of Hiranyakashipu and was filled with rage. Seeing his angry face, no one had the courage to go near him and please him or calm him down.

Hearing the news of Hiranyakashipu's death, Brahma, Indra, Shankar, all the gods, sages, sages, Nagas, Gandharvas etc. reached that meeting and after stationing themselves at a short and safe distance, everyone tied the sacred thread and praised God separately, but God Narasimha's anger did not subside. Then the gods sent Goddess Lakshmi to pacify him but she also got scared after seeing the fierce form of the Lord.

Then Brahma ji said to Prahlad – “Son! God was angry with your father and has taken this form for you, his devotee. You are special to him since you are his sincere devotee. Only you can pacify and calm his anger down.

Hearing this Prahlad went near God, prostrated himself on the ground with folded hands and started praising him and chanting his name and praying to him. Seeing the child Prahlad lying at his feet, God became compassionate and picked him up and made him sit in his lap and said lovingly –

“Child Prahlad! Although a solitude-loving devotee like you has no desire for anything, still you should accept all the offerings of the demon lord in this world for my happiness only for one Manvantar. By enjoying the fruits of your virtuous deeds and by destroying your sins through selfless virtuous deeds, by renouncing your body in time, you will come to me freed from all bondages. People will sing your pure fame even in heaven.”

Saying this, Lord Narasimha disappeared from there.

Parashar ji says in Vishnu Purana – “The sins of a person who listens to the story of devotee Prahlad are soon destroyed.” By reading this on Purnima, Amavasya, Ashtami and Dwadashi, a person gets the results of donating a cow.

Just as God protected Prahlad ji from all the objections, similarly he always protects the one who listens to his stories.
